Edward Thompson and Tom Bevilacqua
Join InnoPath Board of Directors
Strengthened Board to Better Position Company for Future Growth
Sunnyvale, California, November 13, 2008—InnoPath Software, the leader in Mobile Device Management (MDM), today announced the addition of Edward Thompson and Tom Bevilacqua to the company’s board of directors.
Edward Thompson will be Chairman of the Audit Committee, a position he also holds on the boards of ShoreTel, Inc., Harris Stratex Networks, Inc. and SonicWALL, Inc. He has served as a senior advisor to Fujitsu Limited and as a director of several Fujitsu subsidiaries or portfolio companies since 1995. From 1976 to 1994, Mr.Thompson held a series of management positions with Amdahl Corporation including Chief Financial Officer and Secretary from August 1983 to June 1994, and Chief Executive Officer of Amdahl Capital Corporation from October 1985 to June 1994. Mr.Thompson is a member of the Advisory Board of Santa Clara University’s Leavey School of Business and holds a B.S. in aeronautical engineering from the University of Illinois, and an M.B.A. with an emphasis in operations research from Santa Clara University.
Tom Bevilacqua joins the InnoPath board as a representative of VantagePoint Venture Partners, an InnoPath investor, replacing Eric Ver Ploeg. Tom has more than 25 years of Silicon Valley experience as an executive, venture investor and advisor to technology driven companies. He co-founded ArrowPath Venture Partners, a successful early stage venture capital fund, and has served as a Managing Partner of that firm for the past seven years. Prior to ArrowPath, he served as an Executive Vice President of E*TRADE Financial, where he established E*TRADE’s acquisition and investment strategies. He was previously a Partner at two of Silicon Valley’s leading law firms and has served as an advisor of more than 200 public or private financings. He is a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley (BS) and the University of California, Hastings College of the Law (JD).
